Women Can Run!
This nonpartisan program encourages and trains women to run for public office. The purpose of the program is to promote women’s civic engagement and to diversify the ballot, with the long-term goal of increasing women’s representation in elected leadership. Our Women Can Run! program is a member of the Ready to Run® National Network, a project of the Center for American Women and Politics.
This year we are planning a Women Can Run! state-wide conference in Tallahassee, September 1-3, 2017 for 150 women from across Florida. If you are a woman who is considering throwing your hat in the ring now or in the future, this conference is for you!
